This is my first draft of my geometric animal artwork. I chose a butterfly image using the search the web option in Google Drawing. Next I used the polyline tool to trace around the whole outside of the butterfly. I used straight lines and just did a single point for each curve to create a more stylised look. I used the line tool to create shapes inside my butterfly.
My vision for this artwork is to create natural colour segments that look a slightly 3 dimensional, but I’ve had a bit of trouble colouring the segments, because I didn’t use the polyline tool to make them.
